It’s such a thrill to learn that each and every example of this pleasing rucksack by the label FRENCH AND ENGLISH CONFECTIONER’S is unique, since each one is handmade by its designer, Ms. LUCIE GONNORD of London. “It’s made from grey or cream patent leather,” she says, “with natural leather straps, and it is big enough to carry a laptop.” The rucksack, which takes 2-4 weeks to make, is available to order through LUCIE’s website at a cost of £165. LUCIE plans to introduce versions in red non-patent leather, the arrival of which will be heralded on her website as soon as they are ready.

Nice! And the music sheet holder on the site is cute too.

Isn’t it lovely? The bag is so well made, well proportioned, and the colours are totally dreamy. We’re big fans

Good colour, size and shape, oh and a decent price too. What’s not to like? I have to admit to not being a massive fan of patent but everything else works so well that I think I could happily live with it.
As WMAT says the music case on Lucie’s site is also rather nice and comes in at under a ton. Perfect for sticking your bits and bobs in when you don’t need to carry much around with you. I’m looking forward to seeing what the shoes will be like too.
Mrs.Mo:
Love it! It’s so ‘classic reinterpreted’, and very elegant in patent. Just so happens I’m looking for a rucksack… great tip!

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I enjoy seeing websites that understand the value of providing a prime resource for free. I truly loved reading your post. Thanks!

This is really cool, I have been looking for an interesting rucksack for ages and this fits the bill… And within my price range too!
