This week sees a series of Australian high summer tips from friend and photographer Mr. SAMUEL HODGE for those readers currently enjoying the sunny southern hemisphere. SAMUEL, who is a resident of Sydney, recommends a refreshing dip in the fabulous BRONTE BATHS. Found in the city’s eastern suburbs, the free ocean-water pools were carved out of the rocky coasts in 1883 by the local council and are said to be the birthplace of the modern freestyle swimming stroke. “You have to hold onto the railing or else you’ll get smashed by the waves,” says SAMUEL. “It’s amazing.”
