THE POETRY OF MR. STEVE KILBEY

Interested web surfers might be amused by the well-kept blog of Mr. STEVE KILBEY. The singer and bass player of Australian pop group THE CHURCH, Mr. KILBEY produces incredible poetic streams of unconsciousness with the occasional hint of meaning. It is quite psychedelic and hallucinatory. For those unfamiliar with STEVE’s work: the first four albums by THE CHURCH, from the early 1980s (that’s before their breakthrough hit UNDER THE MILKY WAY) are very highly recommended. Later albums are less amazing.

Amazing songwriter! I agree with Josh (above): ‘Side A’ of ‘Heyday’ is flawless.
