The LAST BAG is a range of leather satchels based on the traditional schoolbag form by designer Mr. PIET BREINHOLM. They are made by hand in Denmark from embossed heavy-duty ox leather in an assortment of both classic and energetic colours. Mr. KRISTOPHER HOUSER of New York recently tried three versions during his time at Amsterdam Fashion Week. “They suited my style perfectly,” says KRIS. “I must have been asked twenty times in three days where I got them.” Readers are invited to click on the image above to see the different colourways in action. The classic small grey is shown with fashion model Mr. DAAN NUTGER. The classic big red was photographed front row with artist Mr. JACOB KOK. This racy color may perhaps be better suited to today’s gentlewomen, since the bags are indeed unisex. Finally, there is the classic small patch in green, modelled by Mr. RUDY VAN MOORLEGHEM, a student. The LAST BAG is stocked only by a handful of stores; those not near one, or those with particular colour requirements, may also purchase them directly through the company’s web site.

The first bag for many Danish schoolboys in the seventies and earlier. Can doing a straight copy qualify as design?
its not copying when the said item is no longer available – i think they are quite clever
Love them! Classic shapes, nice colours.
