In the absence of a grandmother, quilting club or country fair, the French brand A.P.C. makes an excellent substitute. The quilt seen above is part of the brand’s collaboration with London-based designer JESSICA OGDEN and is inspired by the quilts A.P.C. designer JEAN TOUITOU’s mother made from vintage KENZO fabrics. This one, however, is made entirely from fabrics from the A.P.C. archive.

Charles:
A Kenzo quilt would be amazing!
Archie:
Personally, I love the “Kings Cross”, which is queen size and in black, grey and white lawn print. They’re crazy-expensive but apparently the craftsmen get paid decently and I guess they must take an age to make…
Bruce:
The Kings Cross (Q15) patterned quilt is to die for!
