Bicarbonate of soda, also known as baking soda, is an absolutely incredible all-round product. This bicarbonate of soda is by BORWICK’S and in addition to its anti-inflammatory properties, ability to polish silver and use as a leavening agent, it is particularly effective when laundering clothing. A paste can be made using equal parts bicarbonate of soda and water to remove stains, while soaking clothing in a diluted mixture removes odours such as cigarette smoke. It may also be used in place of fabric softener and to get whites whiter. Nice!
