The courtyard of art centre PS1 in Long Island, New York, has received a fabulous temporary makeover by SOLID OBJECTIVES (SO-IL), the New York based architectural firm of FLORIAN IDENBURG and JING LIU, winners of the 11th annual MoMA/MoMA PS1 Young Architects Program. The installation, called POLE DANCE, comprises 25-foot-tall poles connected by elastic cords and covered by an open net with 120 balls bouncing around. The architectural spectacle will be up until September 6, but people unable to visit the site can still enjoy the project, with interactive animation, sound from the installation as well as plenty of photos, via this internet link.

New York:
New York is just wonderful this time of the year. Before it gets to cold, its still nice enough weather to stroll around Central Park or Manhattan and just enjoy New York and take everything in :)
