Isn’t it a shame how unpremeditated photography is no longer cherished? And how “bad” photos now disappear with single click of the trash button? It used to be that once one had paid for the printing of flop photos, one would think twice and take time to find some beauty in them before they were discarded. Hail the HOLGA, the toy-like camera device (100% plastic) that still uses old-fashioned film, and has no trouble capturing multiple images in one frame. It can lead to a film full of rubbish, but may also produce the occasional stunner of an image such as the one above, taken at the Lloydkwartier one recent September afternoon in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
