This is a matchbox depicting the 777-metres-long EUROPABRÜCKE near the Austrian town of Innsbruck. The bridge, part of the A13 Brennerautobahn, opened in November 1963, and the souvenir matchbox must have been purchased around the same time. The timelessly handsome cardboard object comes courtesy of the estate of the late Ms. GERRI VAN DE PEUT of Den Haag, the Netherlands.
