An intriguing recommendation from our American friends is this over-the-counter remedy against sleepless nights. Even the name is too good to be true: DREAM WATER. It consists of a combination of melatonin, gamma-aminobutyric acid and L 5-hydroxytryptophan, all sleep-inducing substances in themselves. Drink one of the pocket-size bottles half an hour before going to bed, et voílà! It seemed to work well for us this week, withstanding a mild jetlag, but then, who knows how we would have slept without DREAM WATER? So the lasting question is: does it work?
