It is with great excitement that FANTASTIC MAN today launches not only its new-look website, but also its DAILY RECOMMENDATION section by announcing the publication of the new issue of FANTASTIC MAN itself. The cover star of the tenth issue is the dashing actor Mr. EWAN McGREGOR, while profiled inside are the journalist Mr. HAMISH BOWLES, the internet pioneer and sword-swallower Mr. HANS ROSLING and the head of make-up at CHANEL, Mr. PETER PHILIPS. The fashion is entirely focused on the contemporary suit, and there are all sorts of other curiosities, such as an exhaustive study of steak. Photographed at his home in Antwerp, RAF is seen wearing select pieces by RAF SIMONS and JIL SANDER – both brands he designs for. Other interesting men profiled in this issue include: the fabulous magician Mr. DAVID COPPERFIELD, the interior-decorator extraordinaire Mr. RICKY CLIFTON and the hailed London-based chef Mr. YOTAM OTTOLENGHI. I just made my local magazine stockist in St Germain, Paris pull out a few extra copies onto the front shelf, so they won’t be ignored
I must say I think the section about the porridge, the absence and the baldness is my favourite section. Very considered.
My daily recommendation is buy fresh flowers, and carry them with you throughout the day, to give to yourself or someone else later – people in the streets will see them and smile and you’ll bring a bit of true glamour everyone’s way
