Mr. MATT JAMES RAWLE, an actor living in London, UK, is a staunch advocate of wearing long johns on a cold winter day for unrivaled warmth and comfort. The pair pictured above are a cashmere and wool mix from D&G that Mr. RAWLE likes to wear under a loose fitting pair of corduroys or jeans. “This particular pair may ruin the line of a trouser,” he warns, “in which I case seek something finer and made of silk.”

To be worn without undergarments?
Mr. ADAM ROBERTS:
Happy to report that I received an equally handsome pair on Christmas morning, as residing in North of Hadrian’s Wall is frightfully cold!

Although I am only 23, I have been enjoying the comfort and warmth of longjohns for about 5 years, and i have never felt better. Cannot believe that so few young guys try them as they are great. Even my GF thinks I look quite sexy in the white ones although I prefer the darker shade as they are not so obvious to others if they show above my jeans, or through the rips.
