Those about to descend on LONDON for the annual FRIEZE ART FAIR should put some time aside to allow a visit to the 10 year retrospective of SHOWstudio, the on-line fashion playground founded by Mr. NICK KNIGHT, which can currently be seen at Somerset House on the north embankment of the THAMES. It is a remarkable affair, with the installation making the unlikely leap from 13-inch laptop screen to fully-fledged exhibition. Of particular interest is a live revisiting of the project SITTINGS: THIRTY MEN from April 2005, when stylist and FANTASTIC MAN contributor Mr. SIMON FOXTON styled 30 models, one for each day, who were then seated in front of a SHOWstudio webcam and available to answer questions from viewers via telephone. The model on the day FANTASTIC MAN visited Somerset House was the delightful TAFARI, a gentleman of some standing from London, who was wearing PRADA.
