Today we are not recommending the entertaining documentary film from 1975 called GREY GARDENS, but the amazing grey stone Zen garden in the Kinninji temple in Kyoto, Japan. The temple is over 800 years old, though the meticulous pattern in the grey gravel was obviously touched up at a more recent date. Staring at a garden like this for an hour or two can be incredibly relaxing.
