Oh my, trousers tucked into socks!? We’ve been fighting AGAINST that for ages in Denmark, it looks so clumsy. Other than that though the Lanvin show sure had some great stuff.

i think LANVIN is overated….ADAM KIMMEL, RAF SIMONS, KOLOR, YAMAMOTO, DRIES, REI…they are far more better….
Lanvin is a brand which sells loads of sneakers!

J, I totally agree. I am all for accessories in men’s collections. They are adding much needed freedom to traditional concepts such as the suit, the jacket or the overcoat, making us question tradition, reinvent it, and refocus our gaze on shapes and colours. Even though I am not a big fan of the backpack, bring them on and well done, Elbaz at Lanvin!

Worldmanabouttown: I think it is effect of the realization that they offer an opportunity to create even more depth. Rather my question would be why they have not been as investigated before as they are now.

Very 80s’ Culture Club doing ‘War’. I am aware that I may stand alone in thinking that the runway is increasingly about accessories these days. Is this cause or effect of financial recession? Are men being lead to spend more money on affordable and creative pieces that they can add or subtract from their daily clothes?
