Today’s video tip, kindly suggested by stylist JULIAN GANIO (thanks!), is for readers to watch an episode of FASHION, a television series produced by the artist ANDY WARHOL in the late 1970s. The above episode features an interview with the late, jet-setting fashion designer ROY HALSTON about his life, inspirations and creative process, and also includes footage of his fashion shows. Viewers are able to use the following links to access parts two, three and four of the programme.

halston, he had damned good taste and style. sad that he’s been gone for so long. his townhouse is still lovely, despite the current owner’s stupid redesign of it and getting rid of the grey carpet, but one can love it from afar. even more unfortunate is how his name / brand is being used for the new fashion house, and affront of all affonts, to have the horseface sarah jessica p as some kind of design consultant- get the hell out of here. rest in peace, halston- love you and miss you.
