To witness sheer radicalism and exuberance, watch this clip of MICHAEL CLARK plus troupe dancing to THE FALL surrounded by flowers sprouting fried eggs. As with all of CLARK’s performances, what astonishes is the bedrock of classical knowledge from which the insanity can be unleashed. It means that even if a particular segment involves a man showing off his underpants, it is done with the utmost poise, balance and bounce.

EC:
Man I love The Fall.
I’ve only recently been exposed to Clark’s work.
Do you know if those are Leigh Bowery costumes?
langa:
Hey EC,
yes those were Leigh Bowery costumes, he was also working on the fried egg trees.
The Michael Clark Company will be resident at the Tate modern this bank holiday weekend.
Hope you get the chance to see them
John:
Wow, this really is great.

Langa,
Thanks for the information.
I wish I could make it to the Tate, but I live a plane ride distance away.
I will look on line for some additional information.
