    Porter bags are excellent and it’s a shame that they are so difficult to order directly from the maker. My favourite tote is a Porter (made in partnership with one of your rival magazines) that has the perfect handle lenght and pockets and zips in all the right places.

    Hey, didn’t you guys once say that nobody should ever, ever have a rucksack/backpack?

    I have no less than 20 different Porter bags and recently acquired this model for cycling (there is no other excuse for a rucksack unless you are Simon Foxton) The original Porter bag is based on the US Army pilot Helmet bags from the 60s. Here is a rare instance where the original does not match up to the quality of the reinvention. Worth noting that Porter is now available again the UK at PRESENT on Shoreditch High Street.
