A fine opportunity to see and experience the rather amazing exhibition DIVIDED DIVIDED by artist Mr. CARSTEN HÖLLER in the MUSEUM BOIJMANS VAN BEUNINGEN in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, can be seized by bidding on the one remaining available night at the REVOLVING HOTEL ROOM that is part of the exhibition. It’s for the night of Saturday, March 20, and the room will go to the highest bidder, with a starting bid of 450 euros. Interested parties may find information about the auction here. The satin-sheeted bed – visible to readers by clicking on the image above – is placed on a slowly revolving glass platform in a giant gallery in the museum. A butler and torches for extra lighting are available all night as guests are invited to stroll through the whole museum. It could be quite a treat. Those unlucky in their bidding can still visit HÖLLER’s show until April 25. Also among the works on display is a properly fantastic birdcage mobile.
