A WEEK OF WINTER TRAVEL: A HOTEL IN BERLIN

The MICHELBERGER HOTEL recently opened its doors in a former factory building in the Friedrichshain area of Berlin. The hotel boasts a hodge-podge of custom-designed cosy rooms – priced at a very reasonable 60–100 euros per night – and DIY Berlin chic interiors in the lobby and bar areas. The lounge is shown above in a photograph by Mr. ANTONIO FERREIRA who says that even though it is “run by hipsters for hipsters”, it merits a visit, even if only for a drink.

‘(E)ven though it is “run by hipsters for hipsters”, it merits a visit, even if only for a drink.’ Sometimes I just love the fear sub-culture inspires.
