From Mr. ADAM MORRIS of London comes the recommendation of a collection of music he has enjoyed thoroughly over the past few weeks. The series, released on Harmless Records, is called “DISCO DISCHARGE” and has provided a pick-me-up for ADAM and his friends as the nights grow longer and the skies greyer during daylight hours. “It’s essential there is stimulus on hand that lifts the spirits and cheers the heart,” writes ADAM. There are four compilations total: Euro-disco, Hi-NRG and Gay disco, classic hits, and, ADAM’s personal favourite, the charmingly named “DISCO LADIES”. They contain two compact discs each, each offering a carefully balanced mixture of well-known favourites and more obscure songs. The compilations have aided ADAM in completing tiresome household chores, preparing for dinner parties, and as a bridge between these parties and going out to a club or bar. He adds: “I must stress I do not work in the music industry or for any associated supplier, but my experience, and that of those who have heard them in my home, makes me want share these charming collections of optimistic and joyful music with other visitors to your wonderful and helpful site.”
