As the skies darken in the northern hemisphere, the word “grey” is often used disparagingly to describe a whole heap of depressing winter conditions – grey skin, grey clouds, etcetera. Yet grey can be of such great value, and so this week we celebrate several shades of grey. Here is a remarkable grey JIL SANDER suit, worn by Mr. MATTHEW MONEYPENNY of New York City. The image was taken during a shoot by Mr. DANIEL RIERA for the current issue of FANTASTIC MAN, and includes a rare glimpse of the magazine’s fashion director, Mr. JODIE BARNES, as well as his assistant, Ms. JOE PORRITT, plus some other man carrying something. MATTHEW is wearing a shirt and tie by RALPH LAUREN, gloves by ALEXANDER McQUEEN and his own ADIDAS trainers.
