Mr. MICHAEL BECKER of the infamous DJ duo Pet Shop Bears in Berlin, Germany, brings this reconstructed denim jacket to our attention. It hails from a second-hand shop in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and came to MICHAEL via friend Ms. SANDRA MIDDENDORF. It is the ultimate thrift score. BECKER likes to pair this MARGIELA-esque concoction with wool shorts or pants, or with classic tight-fit jeans and a white T-shirt. Says MICHAEL: “It is a tribute to denim in all its shapes and fashions, so I guess you can wear it in grace through the decades.” For those disinclined to scour the vintage shops of Bydgoszcz, Ms. MIDDENDORF can be found with her treasures on Sundays at the fleamarket in the Mauerpark in Berlin.
