An enjoyable trip for those who happen to be in Amsterdam this week could be the exhibition of 24 young painters that were nominated for the annual Royal Awards for Painting. The works of art, such as this award-winning “Lying Man I” by HANS HOEKSTRA, are on display at the Royal Palace on Dam Square, until Sunday, November 1st. The palace itself has an impressive main hall but is otherwise quite an uninteresting sight.
